Loot Council reports drops for a given raid/instance, with per-character upgrade values.
Why? I want to take upgrades, but not when significantly better for someone else. With generic itemization (spellpower, I'm looking at you!) an item might benefit many different classes playing different roles. This tool helps inform such decisions.
"Characters" is a list of character names (they can be of different classes and builds).
Upgrades include per-slot and overall values based on improving the item currently in the slot. Item scores come from the same ranking sites used by Gear Wishlist, taking into account what gear is "best" for different classes and specs. Upgrades appear as "??" when the new item is ranked and the character's current item in slot isn't. For rings and trinkets, per-slot upgrade values are relative to the lowest scored item. Like Gear Wishlist, comparisons between two-hand and main/off-hand are wonky.
Item scores are not perfect, please always review the data before acting!
